Yeah, the Zach comic is coming along monstrously, and we're not givving away TOO much by showing some previews here!

It's true some comics have had Zach's name on them, but he's only been employed as a "host" for horror stories, never as a subject of the story itself. It's about time somebody did, and naturally it had be Von Hoffman!

Cartoon Preview...

Well, the response to our call for Animators has been a deafening pin-drop, and so we bravely have decided to go it alone! "Von Hoffy" is in lab almost continually now, and he's averaging about 45 seconds of cartoon a day. Sure, it's murder, but what ain't?

Ultimately, all the best Monster U. songs will get the full one-man cartoon treatment, then they'll be available as a full-length DVD.

Greetings, Fellow Monster Kids! This "Student Body" Blog has risen off the slab to help, aid and abet the upcoming Monster U. The Movie animation & film project!

Some of you may already be aware of the Monster University music albums, comic books, cards and posters. Professor Von Hoffman's been extra busy in the lab and has thus far produced a giant, quaking & heaving mass of 31 Monster Songs!

Barbara Cadaver's famed "Frat Poster" has been enlisted to keep your interest up...

Some say these horrible hits are some of the best Monster Music ever made, and the albums sell steadily year-round, especially at Halloween where they get airplay of Radio shows nationwide. Elvira herself digs them gravely (she spins these CDs at her private parties) and the legendary Horror Host ZACHERLEY even appears in person on the song Monster University!

SO--we're inviting all you greedy independent animators and filmmakers out there to select the awful song of your choice and hatch a short cartoon or flick using it as soundtrack! BWA HA HA! Then the final product will be unleashed on an unsuspecting public via DVD for Halloween 2010! DOUBLE BWA HA HA HA!

Remember, it's a first-come first-serve basis on the individual songs.

You may agree these tunes are ripe for your visual interpretation. You could use traditional animation, or Flash, or stop-motion, puppets--anything! And live action too if ya wanna.
